Hello vocalists and pianists!

I've discovered some delightful, lively, secular, classical vocal quartets. If I can find an alto, tenor, bass, and pianist willing to take on the challenge of getting one or more of the songs below to concert readiness (even if it takes a year, I am not in a hurry) for one of the Musikplattform events, I would be delighted. :-) If you have other favorite vocal quartets that are similarly lighthearted, feel free to suggest them. :-)

Ideally we would start meeting to rehearse weekly or biweekly for an hour or so early next year in January or February. I have access to the practice rooms - which include a selection of both upright and grand pianos for the pianist - at the ETH Hoenggerberg and Centrum campi. 

Looking forward to hearing from some altos, tenors, basses, and pianists!

I suspect the challenge will be greater for the vocalists than the pianist. 

I know I would like to benefit from occasional professional vocal instruction to extract the best of my voice, and I saw one group of teachers in Zurich offers instruction for small groups. So that could be an option to help us get started smoothly if we're willing to pay for instruction together. 

P.S. If a tenor, bass, and pianist would like to stretch both their vocal and theatrical muscles with me, we could attempt "Der Hochzeitsbraten D. 930" by Franz Schubert, although I suspect we'll all need a couple sessions with a vocal trainer to get it respectably entertaining.  :-)
